This week, another seven municipal governments in Delaware, Lewis, Orange, Orleans, Seneca and Warren counties proudly join 214 others, and 52 county legislative bodies across the Empire State to support citizens civil and constitutional rights. Together, 273 municipal and county governments, representing millions of New Yorkers, follow a united path in opposition to the unsafe law Governor Cuomo rushed into place in the dark of night on January 15th, 2013, without transparency or intelligent debate, using an unnecessary “Message of Necessity”.

Municipalities that have passed resolutions opposing the SAFE Act are represented on the map as liberty loving “Shining Stars” of freedom.
