  1. I’m writing this letter in regards to our governor and president who have no respect for the people of NY State and country. The way they are sliding new laws under the carpet not allowing the people to speak up about the issues is totally wrong. Last time I check this was the United States of America, it’s more like a communist country now. What would it take to bring these laws to a vote from the people, not within the state or government legislators? It’s obvious that most of those elected into office is NOT speaking for the people. New York should be divided into north and south as two separate states; all the petitions on line show this. Please speak up for us the people and thank you for hearing my voice from thousands. Would love to ask our governor and president ‘”What’s next, we can only use seven to ten sheets of toilet paper per sitting.” These new laws are not what the people want nor going to stop the mentally ill or criminals from performing crimes. Damn it’s not too hard to figure that out!!!
    Sincerely,
    Van E. Herbert
